As part of our mission to facilitate next-generation affordable & accessible energy solutions we are developing Sodium-ion batteries. They’re efficient, reliable & economical.

Instead of sourcing resources through imports, we aim to focus on sodium-based chemistry that provides a significant economic opportunity as sodium is abundantly available here in the form of salt.

The performance issues pertaining to Na-ion batteries due to several intrinsic materials level issues leading to affected energy efficiency & capability as well as the life cycle are addressed by the Rechargion-NIB through materials’ design enabling Na-ion batteries that are competitive in the energy market.

Vacancies
We have a vacancy for one technical person to work on an ARAI-Technovuus research project on ‘Thermally stable and safe sodium ion batteries for
e-mobility’.
​
The position will be based at the Venture Center Business Incubator on the NCL Innovation Park, Pune, India and is a temporary position for a total duration of six (6) months.
​
Potential candidates should have a Ph.D. in Chemistry/Physics and preference will be given to those with experience in materials synthesis and rechargeable battery cell fabrication.
​
